Bring FEA into Simulink with Descriptor State Space Block

Finite element formulations can be put into the form of a descriptor state space system. In this demonstration, a finite element model of a heat sink is used to determine if a fan-driven IR cooling system can sufficiently dissipate heat generated from a heat sink. This example shows how to construct a feedback control system involving a FEM model with Simulink®.
